Practicing yoga helped me make significant changes in my life and continues to help me maintain health and wellness. Now, as I move along on my own journey, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the knowledge and experience I (continue to) gain with others.
I’ve been instructing since 2007 and have studied with Maty Ezraty, Annie Carpenter and Erich Schiffmann among others.
The style of yoga I offer is Vinyasa/Flow – linked with the breath, flowing, meditative. Classes start off with traditional warm-ups, then move into more challenging postures. Sequences are bookended with breath-work and maybe a restorative pose or two. The focus of each practice is to invite fellow yoga practitioners to be in the moment. To become immersed in the experience, allowing the moment to be a journey inward while quieting the mind. I also offer instruction on universal anatomical movement principles focused on getting the most out of each pose. No music. Ideal for levels 1 to 2 and open to advanced/all levels.
Get blissed-out and into a yoga glow for the week with your Sunday morning reset: 9:00-10:30am in cozy studio B at SMPY West.
