Yoga is the stillness, the quiet and the calm amidst the chaos, the noise and the distractions of life. Yoga has taught me to be more aware of my body, my breath, and my health. More aware of my life without taking things too seriously. Yoga is the perfect teacher.
My introduction to yoga was in college through the video tapes of Bryan Kest more than ten years ago. Not long after that, I was fortunate enough to attend one of Bryan’s classes. I left feeling like I had been through therapy…..both mentally and physically. It was exhausting and it was exhilarating. Ever since then I have been dedicated to practicing yoga.
Students in my classes can expect to work hard, challenge themselves and be encouraged to listen to what their body is telling them in the moment, while constantly focusing on the breath. So come and see what happens when you begin to release and let go of the stress of life by breathing and moving for an hour and a half.
